Hi team,

I have an issue that i really don't know how to fix.

I have recently moved houses, every time i download/patrol internet, but mainly while gaming. I get huge pings spikes ranging up to 2000ms for about 5 seconds, then drops back to normal.

Initially i thought it was just the wifi, but when i plugged it into ethernet, same thing has happened. I can't play via ethernet anyway, so has to be on wifi.

I have tried a numerous amount of fixes including anti-virus disabled, windows updates, windows security. Pretty much disabled everything to do with windows all together. Have tried different router, same thing happens. Along with all this, it only happens on MY PC. Have tested on other pc's, and works fine. Along with this, have tried to change wifi channels, nothing like that seems to work, so i'm assuming it's something to do with my computer itself.

Not sure what else to do, only other thing is to re-install windows, but not really in my best interest.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks team!

This morning I seem to be very forgetful. We recently saw a bunch of people with similar question so I suspect microsoft "fixed/broke" something with a recent patch. I know it was something related to autoconfig but I don't remember how you change it. Maybe this bump will put the post up again where someone who knows will see it.
