Question I’m hearing electrical static noise coming from an open-case custom-built PC ?

Be very careful.

Make and model PSU?

Wattage, age, condition (original to build, new, used, refurbished)?

Are you able to identify the source/location of the static noise?

Does the noise stop when the system is off? Or, if not, when the system is unplugged?

Why is the case open?

All new parts, built a year and half ago. I can't identify the exact source of the noise.

The noise stops randomly for hours. When the system is turned off, there is no sound too.

The case design is an open model. There is no sound right now.

If it is a actual electrical type of short/arc you should smell it and things are not going to last very long.

Most machines the only thing that can make noise are fans. Yours appears to have water cooling which add lots of things that can also make noises.

I would start with the simple when you hear the noise carefully touch the center of each fan and try to stop it. You might be able to do this with software. note your power supply is smart it has a fan that only comes on during heavy load.

Water issues are much harder. Can you safely change the water pump speeds while you are running and see if the sound changes. I would check if you can that there is no air in the system, this also causes all kinds of strange noises.

Thank you. I'll try this. Yesterday, I simulated a load on power with OCCT and the electricity static noise started to sound like an air leak sound
