Hello.

After searching e-bay and everything else I could think of for several weeks I have been unsuccessful in locating what I am looking for.

I am seeking any of the following.

GIGABYTE GA-107, GIGABYTE GA-108, SUNIX 5249P, TYAN S1363-004, or a TYAN S1366 PCI card.

Any of these will do. I am seeking them because these are the only pci cards that I could find that have fdd controllers on them and for the purpose of hooking up some 5.25" drives which to my knowledge do not come with usb attachments. The drives I need to hook up are internal anyway. That and I really don't feel like putting myself through the nightmare of installing an old isa card. That would take up a lot of space too.

If you possess any of these cards or if you know where or how I might go about obtaining one of these please respond and let me know.

Thank you.

What type of port are they? If they are not USB, could they be Firewire, if so, you just need an adapter form firewire to usb. BTW, what kind of 5.25" drivers are we talking about here anyways? Are they internal drives?

They are standard 32-bit PCI cards. I finally found an S1366 on ebay but it was a dud. Really sweet card though if it would work.

The S1366 has two ide controllers 2 fdd controllers (allowing a total of 4 floppy drive to be run off that card!) a game port and also provides a parrallel and serial port on the back. PLUS it will work with either a 32bit PCI slot OR a 16bit ISA slot thanks to an ISA paddle that comes off of it as well. This is the one I really want but any of them wil do.

They are standard IBM format floppy drives. I already know how to use an Atari and commodore drive by means of a parrallel port connection.

Still no luck in finding any of these cards (in working order that is).
