I am trying to access streetcheck.co.uk and getting http error 403- see below

Ok. I have tried other pcs in the home on the same internet network and they work fine as does my colleagues laptops at his home so it isn't do with the ISP or the website.
I get the same error on all browsers: Edge, Chrome, Firefox and Opera.

I have disabled the firewall, disabled antivirus and all extensions and am the administrator on my pc. So far, all other websites seem ok. I have also run all scans- av and malware and all show everything as fine. Can any replies be straightforward please as I am not particularly techy. Thanks in advance. I am on windows 10 and it is up to date. Windows version windows 10 OS Build 19045.5608

yes and tried several browsers too- also am an administrator and all windows updates are up to date. Not sure why this has started happening- its not the internet as other devices c=on the same network can access it fine so its not the website either

Its probably a silly question, but have you rebooted your computer?

rebooted, removed extensions, cleared cache and cookies, tried different browsers, tried vpn, nothing works, but I can access it on all my other computers on the same network.

403 error indicates that the server got your request but denied access. I looked into a similar problem years ago and it was due to a bad network driver that was messing up a network packet.
basically, the client would ask for some info, the server would respond. The client re assembled the network packet incorrectly and after some timeout assumed the server did not respond and would ask for the same packet again. after 3 iterations of this the server refuses to reply to your client.

fix for this was to update the network driver for the machine, or use another network device. Sometimes it can be the router that corrupts the packet and you have to update the router firmware.

unfortunately, it can also be a corruption on any hop to and from the server so sometimes you can not fix the problem without changing the route to the server. most of the time it will be your local network driver.
(all this assumes the server was not undergoing maintenance at the time of the request)
(not likely, to be router or external router problem if other machines work ok, update local machine network driver, some versions of network devices also have known bugs in hardware where you have to disable a setting in device manager for the network device to avoid the bug)

figuring out the problem requires you to run a network sniffer to capture the packets and see what was actually going on. best just to update your router, and network driver and see if you have the same issue.

note: i think current version of Windows might have introduced some problem in current Windows 11 builds
I have hit this 2 times in the last 2 months but have not looked into it. (I think the timeout on the server is 300 seconds)
