[SOLVED] I bought a used GPU, I think it was used for mining, should I return it?

Hello gentlemen,
I recently bought a used card from a known online store (even though the seller was a third party), specifically an Asus Rog Strix RX580 O8G. It was listed as “as new” and came at a little under 200€ which seemed like a good deal, and given the fact that I could return it and have my money back if not satisfied, I convinced myself to order it.
The card came with too much dust on it to be considered “as new”, and around the fans you could see some signs of oxidation going on on the heatsink. Even the smell of it was somewhat moldy, which had me suspecting it was used long enough in a humid environment (like mining for a full year in a basement).
you can see the little corrosions spot on the fan bracketpretty dusty to be "as new"this one is out of focus, but the filth is evident
I opened it up to have a better look and it was indeed filthy, the thermal compound had completely hardened (even though it might be normal, even for a new card, I wouldn’t know what Asus uses in these GPUs). Worst of all the PCB around some memory modules and VRMs was stained, it had a darker color and a greasy look; I understand this sign might indicate some level of overheating damage, but I would really much appreciate other opinions on the matter.
even more filthpcb discolorationstains are visible on both sides of the PCB
After a proper clean I replaced the thermal compound and put it back together for testing; it survived over 30 minutes of FurMark and over an hour Unigine Heaven without crashing, performance look good to me, during the benchmark it clocked at 1360MHz as advertised and never went over 78°C, even though it was noisy.
I worry this to be a time bomb, I understand electronics tend to suddenly stop working instead of having gradual performance degradation before dying.
What do you guys think? Am I overly worrying about this? Should I return the item or keep it?
Thank you very much to whoever will be willing to give some insight!

Solution
Agreed, return it.
You ordered new, you didnt get it. Additionally, looking at that PCB, specifically the third picture, I wouldnt have bought it used either.
