THANKS!!! lol

ALSO I'll keep this thread updated on things I'll need help with throughout the night!

I think a lot of people use photobucket or the like to host the pics they post here.

Alternatively, you could also email me the pic from your phone and I'll put it up. I'm PMing you my address, feel free to use or not... just so we don't go back and forth.

You can ignore that one :)

The 24pin plugs into your mobo ATX connector, the 18pin plugs into the top left of the PSU and the 5pin in the bottom left.

It plugs into the board's 20-pin USB3 header, yes... the USB2 headers will be 10 pin.

Right... the 1394 connector is for firewire and came with your case, I'm assuming. If your motherboard doesn't have a 1394 connector (I don't think it does), you can skip it... tuck it away somewhere so it won't be in the way.

Plug that HD Audio front panel connector into the Audio header near the bottom left of your mobo. Never force anything, take your time... if something doesn't seem to fit right, stop and consult the manual.

- AAFP is the Audio front panel header where you plug in your HD Audio as mentioned above
- You don't need the SPDIF, Debug, TB_header or CLRTC

CPU_OPT is for an optional CPU fan, ie if your cooler has two fans

I was initially confused, btw... to be on the safe side, I'm assuming that was one complete cable you were holding in the pic.

Heres what comes with Asus boards I'm unsure where to plug it in but, I'm guessing it goes where a USB would go? xD

The CPU cord. It goes next to the bottom Motherboard cord, Correct?

I was a bit scared that there was four unused pins so.....? That normal?

Heres a Molex that came with the case I'm a bit confused where to plug this in.

The H100 is back and I can't reach the PSU with it

Also theres a IDE-SATE the one on the right of the 18pin

Don't really know what they're for, to be honest, or if they merely serve as an extension. My board didn't come with any. But if you refer to your manual (page 2-38) you'll find you can plug that into your USB2 header and then plug the cable into it.

I think your PSU comes with two cables for the CPU. The one you're holding in the pic looks like the one to ignore. Set it aside.

Check if you have another CPU cable... the one you need should just have 8pins on both sides. A lot of times the CPU side will be split into 2 connectors with 4pins each. I think this is the case for your PSU as well. So the PSU side should be a single 8 pin connector and the CPU side will look like two separate 4pin connectors. The two 4pin connectors will be plugged into your motherboard side by side.

Looks like the only free one is for the system speaker. Did your case come with one? Check to see if it did... it basically just looks like a small black cylinder with two short wires attached. All it does it provide the little beep when you power up and beep on some errors.

Not much one can do wrong with those, really, but check to see where it leads to so you know what's it for... I'm guessing it may be for your front fan. It'll plug directly into a molex from your PSU.

I'm a bit baffled by that one, to be honest. Maybe there was a misunderstanding previously... it doesn't literally plug directly into PSU's box. It plugs into a molex from one of the cables coming from the PSU. Sorry if that's where the confusion came from.

That should be in reference to the 6 connectors to the right of the 18pin.

The molex you previously mentioned coming from your case is for the fan controller. Plug that molex into one of the cables coming from your PSU.

The front fans should already be pre-wired into the controller.

The black small black connector you mentioned - you can plug another fan into it and it will be controlled by the case's fan controller.

See here, you can forward to around 7:30

Like a HDD, SSD, or cd drive?

Right. I'm not familiar with the cables on the XFX, but my Corsair PSU for example has two cables with a bunch of Molex connectors attached and another two cables from the PSU with a bunch of SATA connectors. The SATA connectors are for your SDD/HDD/CD-R, the Molex can be used for your H100 for example or older drives which used a molex connector. It's also common for some of the Molex connectors to have adapters attached for fan connectors, so you can power fans directly from the PSU.

Then you still have the 3 open connectors on the bottom of your PSU labeled PCI-E, those are all used to power GPUs.

It's a bit hard to make out the connector but it looks like a standard SATA connector.

Take great care, obviously, but they can be a bit tight. It was very tight on a Samsung SSD I used on my last build. I'm sure you see the connector is like an "L"... ensure you're trying to attach it the right way around.
