I changed the ownership of my Windows Disk C from trustedinstaller to administrators. Is this okay?

So i was trying to disable write caching on my PC but i was having an annoying popup saying that i needed permission from trusted installer on my disk C, which is where my windows 7 is installed.

I went in and made the mistake of taking the ownership of the entire disk C to administrators and taking it from trusted installer.
Realizing that that was a mistake i chose to stop in the middle of the proccess and a popup came on saying that doing that would cause inconsistencies on the system. I pressed okay anyway and that's that.

I restarted the system several times and i've been using it for a while and so far i'm not having any issues but i heard that what i did would mess up my system somehow. Do i need to reinstall windows?

are you using a usb 3.0 flash drive to install? if not, you should give it a go. makes spring cleaning (formatting and reinstalling windows a breeze) significantly shorter time to do than installing from dvd.

if not installing from usb3 flash drive, do try what scout_03 suggested first :)
