I cleaned out files on my Dell Lap top

I cannot acess the internet after I cleaned out my files on my Dell lap top. It will bring me to sites like yahoo but then when I put in user ID and password it tells me my cookies will not accept. How do I fix this?

Control Panel>Internet Options>Security tab, click the Restore all Defaults button, then APply and OK. Restart IE and that should do the trick.[/#000ff]

What program did you use to clean out by the way? Personally I use ccleaner on my machine and haven't had an issue, knock on wood. But it seems thorough and gets the job done.
