Question I dont think my GPU is performing as it should

Hello,
I have a MSI Aero GTX 1080 and I dont think its performing as it should (FPS Wise)

I get on lowest settings in rainbow six siege, about 150 - 200 fps , but my friend he gets on max settings 200 fps with a worse pc.

Same goes for fivem / gta😱

My specs are:

i7-4790k
32GB DDR3 RAM
MSI Aero GTX 1080
600w Corsair power supply
Windows 10 x64
Z97-M Motherboard

Please help.

You can try this test to see if your system if performing normally: https://www.userbenchmark.com/Software.
I believe in your case, your friend has a better CPU than you as Rainbow and GTA do like more cores. It would be best to know what CPU your friend is running.

Hello, my friend has a ryzen 3 2600x, i dont belive thats better than mine, my temps are normal i dont see anything out of ordinary and i will run the test now

It said my pc is "performing as exected" but i dont think so, its a powerful card, i got all my 8 cored enabled also.

Your friend got the better cpu. 2 cores more and a better ipc. If you want to catch up maybe overclock that 4790k.
