Question I feel like my PC is underperforming

Hi all

Games that I play now seem to just lag really badly and it stutters. For example when i play fortnite (dont judge) I struggle to maintain 100fps constant as it dips to 40fps then goes to 165fps. All my settings are on low and its just a joke. Other games such as overwatch on all low settings lags so much. I overclocked my GPU and it made a little difference on the bench mark but not a lot.

Specs
i7 6700k (not overclocked)
Gigabyte GTX1660TI 6gb OC edition
16gb Hyper X ram (clocked at 1666hz becuase when i try to cock it to anything higher my pc wont load)
SSD (Windows)

how full is the ssd?
malware scan the system?

Its a 550w PSU
GPU temps never go above 50 and cpu never above 85
SSD is nealry 95% full and ram usage is normally 85%

Update to the latest bios if you haven't already. You can get it here:

Set your memory speed to 2666Mhz in the bios. I don't think the motherboard supports any higher speed than this.

Your cpu is not boosting. Your gpu is underperforming and the RAM is running at 2133mhz. We need to address all 3.

Enable XMP/DOCP and that should get the RAM up to its correct speed. What are your cpu and gpu temperatures when running the benchmark?

Just seen the motherboard. As per this select 2666mhz.

SSD performance drops off once you start getting over about 85%. This is not likely to help gaming but you should still clear some space.

Whenever I go to the bios I click Advanced, AI overclock tuber, change it to XMP auto and I get two options (XMP DDR4-3200 16-18-18-36 1.35v or XMP DDR4-3000 15-17-17-36 1.35v) further down I can change the DRAM frequency to 2666. If I change anything when save and exit the bios both my monitors say no signal and my pc is on.

GPU temp never goes about 68 and cpu is around 65
