Question I get a black screen for 2-3 seconds every time I press alt + tab or press windows key

I get a black screen for 2-3 seconds every time I press alt + tab or press windows key, it only happens to me in fortnite in full screen mode and it only happens when I am using my external monitor not the laptops monitor. I tried disabling full screen optimization and disabling DVR from the registry. And both the game and windows are set to 1920*1080.

Would resetting my registry solve this problem?? (despite the fact that this doesn't happen when Im using the laptops monitor)
Would a clean install of the game solve this problem??

Also since this problem happened, the game would crash, but this happens only when I spam alt tab out of frustration.

The external monitor is 144hz 19201080 and the laptops monitor is 60hz 19201080 and I just started getting this problem recently.

So I was just testing and it turns out that this problem doesnt happen when I am using directx 12, but I get less fps than when using directx 11.

Well it's either fps or monitor blackouts
