I have 16gb ram but only says I have 7.5gb?

it only says i have 7.5gb, but i have 16gb. is there anyways to fix this so I have 16 gb.
I do have an Asrock z97x killer motherboard, and the ram is 8gb x 2 CORSAIR vengeance pro 16gb 1866mhz.
Maybe i should go in bios?

and yes they are both the same ram sticks, and i did read the manual they r in the right spots, it dual channel memory

What model # of DRAM? What CPU cooler are you using? Might try the stiicks in slots 1-2 from CPU and see if the system sees all 16GB and can use it all

from your screenshot hardware reserved took 8.5GB.
it this a upgrade from windows 7 or 8?
check your bios video/memory settings to see if it taking them.

Ok i seemed to fix it, it automatically down clocked its self to 1333mhz when its suppose to be at 1866mhz so i clocked it to the right speed. And it now detetcts 16gb
