[SOLVED] I have a Dell Inspiron 3583, will it work if I plug it into a 144HZ monitor?

Well, that just says that I would need a nicer HDMI cable, which I can get.

Getting a premium cable is pure snake oil
getting a non bad hdmi cable, which is, any new off the shelf cable should be good enough.

But what I'm wondering is: Will my laptop work if it's plugged into a 144hz monitor? I can worry about the cable later.

That post I directed you too implied it wouldn't. It's a bit 'up in the air' because he never wrote back about trying a 'better' cable ... but I doubt that would have solved it.
