I have a older Rotel DVD player ( pre HDMI and pre Blueray) which I use to play 5 channel analog DVD Audio discs. I recently upgraded my A/V system to a MRX-720 Anthem, which has no inputs for 5 channel analog audio. I am looking for a 5.1 channel analog RCA in with video in to HDMI digital out converter be able to play these DVD A’s, of which I have many. Can you help me?

I tried finding something similar for another poster and the end result is that there are a few stereo to digital or multichannel (designed for mixing - very expensive)
My advice, retire old faithful and look at a new model.

You won't find anything like that since it isn't a trivial thing to do.
Cheaper to get a Blueray player with 7.1 analog audio outputs. I would suggest the Oppo or Cambridge depending on you price range (Oppo at the lower end & Cambridge at the upper end).

Since your application stresses audio quality if you can go for the Cambridge it would be a good investment.
