i've just want to know why Need for Speed Hot pursuit is not working well ?
i've tried to do everything but it still not working normally

please someone help me

It would help to know what resolution you are running at. The 5670 isn't a very strong card, but NFS Hot Pursuit really isn't that demanding, it should be able to run it fine, but if you are at a higher resolution you may have to turn some graphical settings down to get an acceptable framerate.

Are you running Windows Vista or 7? If so you really need to upgrade to at least 4GB of RAM, modern versions of Windows will eat up about 1GB on background processes at least, not leaving a lot for games if you only have 2GB of RAM. Lack of RAM can lead to poor performance in games.

Hi i am Aorasoo
Thanks all 4 your help BUT
I've tried to lower the game graphic details ( need 4 speed hot pursuit ) to the minimum and it still not working well (maximum graphic detail or minimum = not working well ) so i think its because my ram is low or my processor is week ?
someone answer me .

Yes, it may because of a lack of ram since I know that Win7 uses 700MB of ram without anything else running and Vista is worse, it can get up to 1GB. (In rare cases, I saw some computer using 2.5GB of RAM without any background task running)

Also, what is your CPU type?? Intel Celeron? Pentium 4? Pentium D? Core?

Please specify and clarify the elements above.

I assume you are talking about the 2010 NFS Hot Pursuit, and not the one from the 90s. Your CPU is the problem. The Pentium 4 falls below the game's minimum system requirements, it needs at least a Core 2 Duo 1.8GHz. No single core CPU is sufficient for that game. To get good performance you are going to have to upgrade that CPU to at the very least a high clocked Pentium D, though Core 2 Duo is preferable.

If you want a recommendation on a CPU upgrade, post the full model number of your board. You can find out that info with CPU-Z if you don't know.

You say you have the G31 chipset, so hopefully your board will support a Core 2 Duo. Any C2D is a huge improvement over the Pentium 4, and should give you acceptable performance in Need for Speed.

Even a high clocked Pentium D wont cut it. The game is more cpu dependent then GPU dependent, and even the old LGA 775 C2D may struggle to maintain a constant 30-40 at decent settings. Really you need something along the lines of a 2.5ghz three or four core Phenom I&II or fast Athlon II x3 & x4, or really fast dual core like the Phenom II X2 550, or something equal or better on the intel side, C2D on up. If you're board will take it, they did make C2Q and C2D cpus for LGA 775 clocked above 2.6ghz, but some of those LGA775 boards will only take Pentium 4 and Pentium D, so you really have to check up on your board to make sure. The game was not optimized well at all, and if you're board and cpu combo are pretty old, may be time to do a total upgrade if you are serious about playing the game well.

my g41 supports c2q not just cud but its a little bit high price the C2D 2.9 Ghz 3m cache is around 300 US$ and i cant afford it so what do you recommend guys ?

and thanx 4 you all.

Yeah, $300 for a C2D is too expensive. A lot of the high performance LGA775 CPUs are overpriced, they're not made anymore, but demand is high from people hoping to extend the life of their old systems. Unfortunately if you can't afford $300 for a new CPU, a new build isn't really an option either, though a new build is probably a good idea in the long term. All I can suggest in the short term is check to see if your board can overclock CPUs. If so you could look at one of the slower C2Ds, which should be cheaper, and overclock the slower Core 2 to something close to 3.0GHz. Do note you would need an aftermarket cooler to do this, though there are some decent ones that aren't too expensive.

If that's not an option, all you can do is save up some money for a new build, or play the game on a console.
