I have a red sata cable coming from my case??

Hey, I have a Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced and there's this sata cable coming from my case like the other wires from my case do and I didn't know what it was for so I never plugged it in and my computer ran fine... But I'm still curious, am I supposed to plug it in to my motherboard? What is it for?

I can't see it in the pictures I looked at, but it's clearly either for an eSATA port on the front panel, or a dock on top of the case.

That case has a eSATA port on the front panel. You can plug it in to a SATA port on your motherboard if you plan on using an external hard drive or tuck it out of the way if your not.
