I have dual boot. Win XP and Win 7. Some files and Folders are missing in Win 7.

Hi,

I have Win XP and Win 7 installed in my PC. I installed Win 7 recently few months back.

After logging into Win 7, I could notice that some files and folders(created in Win XP) are not present in the drives whereas those files and folders are present in Windows XP.

Eg.) If I have 50 folders in a drive in Win XP, I could find only 20 folders in Win 7.

If I create/paste new files and folders in Win XP the same is not reflected in Win 7 but sometimes files are present in both Win XP and Win 7.

Please suggest solutions to resolve this.

Hmm... Try going into Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization and under folder settings in Windows 7 make sure that hidden files and folders are displayed, and make sure all options are to your desire.
