I have emachine recovery cd need free help getting it to work on W3080

I have recovery cd and i follow directions but it will not do anything but go to black screen telling me system and drivers in system. It will not go past I have to turn off and turn back on, it will not even go back to window. How do I get the recovery cd to work or what can I do?

You do have personal files & drivers backed up ?

Check in BIOS setup to make sure Cd is 1st boot device.

Wipe surface of CD with soft cloth to remove smudges, and
hopefully it is not scratched.

Order new recovery CD's from Manufacturer, or
repair install from Windows CD.
