Question I have I9-10900X. Does it support PCIe 4 SSD and motherboard?

I am buying a new SSD. I want to buy PCIe4 m.2 SSD and a motherboard which supports PCIe4.

But then, does I9-10900X support PCIe4?

Thank you. Does this mean I can still put this CPU onto the motherboard along with PCIe4-supporting m.2 SSD, but the PCIe4 bandwidth will not be reached? Or does this mean the computer will break if I put non-PCIe4-supporting component along with PCIe4-supporting component?

pcie is backward compatible, it will run at pcie3
