For reference, I have:

Motherboard: ASRock B550M-HDV
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600
GPU: XFX Radeon RX 580 8gb GDDR5
RAM: 16GB
PSU: MSI Mag 550w

It boots up, the GPU shows a blue light, but there's no video output to the monitor?

Blue light indicates it is receiving power. What is the video connection used to the monitor and what is the monitor?

Motherboard has video outputs but these only work with an igpu which your cpu doesn't have so these video ports won't show a picture. Back of the case, check video cable is connected to the graphics card further down.

For reference, I have a ASRock B550M-HDV motherboard, a XFX Radeon RX 580 8gb GDDR5 GPU, a AMD Ryzen 5 5600 CPU, 16 gb RAM, and a MSI Mag 550 Watt PSU. Any solutions? PS: it boots up, and the GPU shows a blue light.
Hello,
If your system boots up and the GPU shows a blue light, but you're having issues, try these steps to troubleshoot:
  1. Verify Connections: Double-check all power connections between your GPU, PSU, and motherboard. Ensure that the GPU is properly seated in the PCIe slot.
  2. Update BIOS: Make sure your ASRock B550M-HDV motherboard has the latest BIOS version. Sometimes, a BIOS update can resolve compatibility issues.
  3. Check Drivers: Ensure that your AMD Radeon RX 580 drivers are up-to-date. You can use the AMD driver utility to detect and install the latest drivers.
  4. Power Supply: Confirm that your MSI Mag 550 Watt PSU is functioning correctly. Although the blue light indicates power, double-check that the PSU is not underpowered for your setup.
These steps should help resolve the issue. Let me know if you need more detailed guidance!
