I have problem with my HDD!

I have one WD 80gb and one Maxt40gb. Os is on WD adn some times when i wana swap to D: partition i TCommander it says disk error. I format disk (i does fast and normal) its ok and in few days again disk error when i try to swap . WHAT TO DO ? PLZ! :z

If the WD disc is faulty you can use SpinRite software to hide bad blocks from the harddrive so they are not being used by the operating system. Other than this, Western Digital themselves have developed tools which can be downloaded directly off their website which can be used to check the state of your harddrive. I would recommend it if you intend to keep it.

Judging from the size of the harddrive I suspect that your harddrive is old (how old?) and when they get old you're probably better off with just getting yourself a new harddrive instead of risking data losses.
