I installed a new (Kingston) 4GB RAM Memory and my PC won't boot up only with it and it doesn't recognize it if I have the old one installed too. The stick is almost identical to the old one except for the voltage. Can I adjust this voltage somehow?

PC specs:
Dell XPS 430
Intel Core Duo CPU 3.06Ghz
4.0 GB DDR3 SDRAM (It should be 8GB)
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Nvidia GeForce GTS 450 GPU

Solution
Probably not, normally not a good idea to mix DRAM in the first place and even worse on a prebuilt computer, most have locked BIOSs and you can't make the adjustments to DRAM you could on one you built yourself, so are out in the wind, either the DRAM will work or it won't - could check and see if they have a BIOS update available
