Question I need good advice for hardware upgrade ?

Hello guys. My PC has intel Core i5-2500 3.30 GHz CPU, 8GB RAM and 250GB HDD.
It has no graphics card and no SSD. I have only a small budget to updrade one thing .
Can you suggest what I should upgrade to make my PC good for gaming? (lol my pc potato).

Have you opened the case before? Take a picture of the psu label, the label with wattage information. Need to know this first.

The PC's bios is not saved. After I changed the PC's bios and gave save and exit, the PC restarted and the PC runs fine again. I shut down the pc and unplugged it and after 5 minutes I plugged it back in and turned on the pc and then the pc turned on and then the pc turned off and the pc restarted. But nothing is saved in my pc's bios. Someone who knows how to give me a solution to this. A big help

You have to wait for replies, may be a couple of hours or a couple of days, depending on how busy the forums are.

a GPU and a SSD later on should be fine.

Gaming performance is usually limited either by the cpu or the graphics card.
What kinds of games do you play?
Fast action games usually need a good graphics card.
Cpu centric games like sims, strategy and MMO need a good processor.
Likely, changing the processor is not an option for you.
A graphics card that does not need aux 6 pin power should be a good upgrade.

Even the lowly GTX1050 would be a good gaming upgrade.
In the US, a GTX1050 sells used for $50-$75.

That said, consider changing out your HDD for a ssd. It makes everything you do feel much quicker.
You can probably find a Samsung 870 evo for about $60.
