i know I've said monitor but i believe this is a gpu issue.

I have a TV and 2 x 20" monitors. the issue is I can see image on the TV and 1 monitor but not on the 3rd monitor. the image on the 3rd monitor shows up when i go to display settings, but there is no image actually coming out of the monitor. I have checked my HDMI cables and verified they do work, and i have had the 3 monitors all come on before. it just doesn't want to come on all the time or stay on in a lot of cases.

I have uninstalled my nvidia graphics drivers and reinstalled fresh default settings and still i get nothing. the only thing i can think of that it may be is that the gpu is not putting out enough power to all monitors. Two are connected via HDMI and the third one via HDMI.

i have the tower in my living room and the monitors and tv in my bedroom. The cables go through one wall.

Specs:

The multiple monitors can be controlled in two places.
-Nvidia control panel
and
Windows display settings
Maybe play around with both areas and also try making the primary monitor using each one of the three seperately with a reboot each time.

UPDATE:
i figured it out. i dont know why but switching the 2 hdmi cables made it work now. i took the hdmi cable that was on top and placed it in the spot below it. didnt even swap them from the monitors. my tv is slot 1, 1st monitor is slot 2, and 3rd monitor is dvi slot.
