Question I need help with reconfiguring a hdd and im very confused.

So back around Christmas my intel ssd messed up. Im not sure what happened to it but today i decided to hook it in to my pc. I only have two sata ports so i unhooked the hardrive that the os isn't installed on. After I done this it kept trying to trouble shoot with some ancient windows 7 screen. I need help. Thanks in advance.

You are giving so much info... Post a couple of pictures with what happens

• What is being messed up?
• What is this "ancient Windows 7 screen"?
• What you want to do with that SSD?

Once you have it connected, copy over the data you need, then reformat it - as simple as that.

sorry guys I found the fix. windows stored boot files on a secondary drive for some reason

Yes, it does that, if you have more than one drive connected while you do the OS install.
