Okay.. I have an issue.

So I've always 2 monitors hooked up to my PC, however a while back one stopped working and I can't work out why.

I have one hooked up via HDMI and the other via a HDMI to DVI cable and it was working fine.. But now, for some reason my computer itself just won't detect the 2nd monitor.

Neither monitor is broken as I can use both as a single monitor via HDMI or HDMI to DVI.. Ports on graphic card work too, as again when I use one monitor they both work.

But when I try hook up 2 monitors the HDMI one works, but the HDMI to DVI one doesn't.. "HDMI No Cable Connected" is the message I get, even though it is.

Anyone had this issue? or got any suggestions?

In that case, have you been through your display settings within Crimson? When you've updated the drivers, it may have reset or changed some of the display settings for the monitors. Check under the display setting to see if both diplays are detected. If not, then try swapping the DVI cable on the monitor.

Is Crimson something I should already have or do I need to download it?

Crimson is the software suite that comes with your most up-to-date AMD driver. It will allow you to configure settings for your Graphics card and displays. www.amd.com to make sure you are up to date.

It is up-to-date: https://i.gyazo.com/56c10ebec4da9568f40837cf2bae4983.png

But I don't seem to have the Crimson Software.

It may be that you have just performed an automatic update on your system, that has only installed the basic GPU driver without the software. Download the latest package from the amd website. Follow the prompts from the main screen. Then you will be able to install the software.

Just going to reset and see what happens.

Reset done. No crimson software that I can see..

All I have really is AMG Gaming Evolved and 'Radeon Settings'

Try opening Radeon settings.

Think I may have found it. It seems to be the 'Radeon Settings' menu, as it's the same exact thing when I searched it on YT.

What settings should I be looking for? As I can't see anything out of place.

Check under display settings, and if both monitors are being detected, then you will see two instances of displays like this:

Yeah, it's only detecting one.. But I can't understand why.

Well if you have tested all the points of failure....the only other thing I can suggest is to uninstall Graphics drivers with DDU, and reinstall them again. I had similar issues in the past like this and a driver reinstall ended up re-detecting both displays afterwards.

I won't lie, I have no idea how I'd go about doing that.
