I need to make 1 molex into 2 or more

I am short on molex connectors from my PSU and need more, will either of these work-

Its just it confused me with the male and female part, whats the difference?

Yes, they will work.

The molex connectors are designed so that the male connector plugs into a female connector. You cannot plug a male connector into another male connector. You cannot plug a female connector into another female connector.

The male connector has four metal pins. The female connector has four metal cylindrical receptacles for the pins. It's very similar to plugging an electrical power cord into a wall socket.

The second splitter with one male connector and two female connectors is probably the one you want. The male connector is plugged into the power supply. The two female connectors are plugged into components.

Hi johnny i have the same problem i need 1 more molex cable so i cn make a 6pin.
So if u cn make more molexs out of one which is good i ws jst wondering will lots of connections affect the performance of your cmptr

When you say you need a 6 pin connector, do you mean a 6 pin connector for a video card?

Male & female will fit together. Male/male or female/female will not fit together.
