[SOLVED] I replaced my gpu's paste and for some reason my monitor dosnt turn on.

so, i replaced the thermal paste and I thought all was good, until I turned on my pc to see that my monitor was on, but it wasnt showing anything, i heard the windows start up sound but my monitor was on but only showing a dark blue black type of screen. I have a GTX 1050, I'm relatively new to this type of thing.

Disconnect every cables from your pc. Unplug the power cable as well. Press power button for about 30 seconds. Then connect everything back. It would be advisable to make sure your gpu is plugged in correctly. Try pressing it down into the motherboard a bit more to make it fitted in correctly.

Are the fans spinning on the gpu?

Can i know your cpu? If it's intel cpu, plug the hdmi into the motherboard. Take off the gtx 1050 from the motherboard. If it boots then it probably means you damaged your card in the process of repasting.
