Question I want to get a new CPU ?

I want to upgrade from a Ryzen 5 3600 to a Ryzen 5 7600X but I need clarification on how that looks paired with my Asus Prime X570-P motherboard.

I believe it is am4 but will I have to update the BIOS or anything like that? Or can I just replace it and be good to go with no hassle??

You can't upgrade to a 7600X without changing the motherboard.

5700X3D should be your choice. It's even faster than Ryzen 5 7600 and its compatible.

This test below have 5800X3D on the chart. And for reference, 5700X3D and 5800X3D have virtually the same performance on games.
