I don't know what "partitions" are. The only drive is the internal hard drive. I put windows 10 64-bit on my external hard drive. I installed the existing OS the first time.
OK...
How did you put Win 10 64bit on your external drive?
You really need to do this from a thumb drive or DVD.
Partitions?
As you boot up from your Win10 64bit install thing....when it asks 'where' to install it to..select Custom.
You will be presented with a list of all existing partitions. (
Partition =
parts of your hard drive)
Select each one, and delete.
Leaving one large empty space.
Let Windows install to that space, creating what it needs.
Then...you'll have to install all the drivers for your hardware, and all your applications. Just like you did the first time.
