So I want to uninstall Windows 10 32 bit from my pc and install a 64 bit version. Is that possible? If so, how do I do it?

Where did your current Win 10 come from?

But all you should need is a new 64bit Win 10 install, from here:

Create your own USB or DVD, install.
This will be a full wipe and reinstall. There is no 'upgrade' from 32bit to 64bit.

This will be a full wipe and reinstall. There is no 'upgrade' from 32bit to 64bit.

Going from a 32bit OS to a 64bit OS is a full wipe and reinstall.
If you don't delete ALL the existing partitions on the drive when you do this, you will end up with a confusing mess.

You will be presented with a list of all existing partitions. (Partition = parts of your hard drive)
Select each one, and delete.
Leaving one large empty space.
Let Windows install to that space, creating what it needs.

Then...you'll have to install all the drivers for your hardware, and all your applications. Just like you did the first time.

I downloaded it from the windows website (the link you provided). Unfortunately, I don't have a disc or thumb drive that has enough space to download windows. I'll get back to you about what you said.

No, there is nothing on the external hard drive besides Windows 10 64 bit. I've already created it.

Resulting in you coming back in a couple of days trying to get the space back to what it should be.

Anyway....
Put the MediaCreation tool on your regular HDD, not the external.
Run it, and tell it to create an install for use on another system.
Then, tell it which drive to use. Preferably, an 8GB USB. But whatever...
Report back when you're done.

Not sure if going from 32-bit to 64-bit is problematic or not.

You tried to create a bootable drive, from an ISO that lives on the same drive.

This will not work.

Put the Mediacreation tool on your existing OS drive.
Run it

Power off
Boot up, and go into the BIOS. You may have to change the boot order to cause the system to boot from this Windows install thing you just created on the external drive.
Assuming it boots from that....follow the prompts to install.
