I want to upgrade my vga (i got 500w evga psu)

I am planning to buy a 256bit video card. I think the price should be between amd r7 265 and amd r9 280. But i have a worry. I do not want my computer to be unstable. I do serious work so it must not crash. Now it is stable, it runs 24/7 with little breaks.

Asrock pro4 h97
Corsair Vengeance 4x4 (16gb)
Cpu cooler: Coolmaster T4 (12cm) + 12cm system fan
Seagate 2tb
Asus dvd writer
PSU: EVGA 500W (80) (it is not a bronz edition)

If these video cards eat to much, please recommend me a useable.

A system with R9 280 needs atleast 30A on 12V line, your PSU (which's good quality) has 40A, so it won't be any issue, all stable. The CPU doesn't eat too much Wattage, and its non-OCable, so you'll be fine
