hello ,

i m trying to buy the components in next 2 to 3 dayz . i m confused on which 1 to choose as they come at similar price range around 40k inr (indian market). it will be mainly for gaming purpose. i want it to last for another 3 to 4 years.

option 1 :
i5 4690k + asus z97 k + 8gb corsair veng 1866mhz + 1tb wd blue + intel 530 240gb (40500 inr)

option 2:
i5 6600k + asus z170-P + 8gb kingston hyperX 2133mhz + 1tb wd blue (40300 inr)

option 3:
i7 4770k + asus z97 K + 8gb corsair veng 1866mhz + 1tb wd blue. (41500 inr)

plz help me choose the right 1 and what benefits will i get from that option ..

Solution
1. You don't really need the 1866 MHz RAM, a 1600MHz is fast enough.
2. Where's your power supply?
3. This setup is pretty powerful, so make sure you have a good case with a lot of room and good airflow.
4. A i5 processor is fast enough. A i7 is basically an i5 with hyperthreading, which has zero benefit in games. In other words, you can actually convert an i7 into an i5 through your BIOS.
Go with the i5 4690k.
5. Skylake is new, and I'd personally wait for it to mature before making the shift. Basically it's more expensive than Haswell, and you can't install Windows 7 through USB on it. Yours is a setup that's pretty powerful, it'll last a long time.
