i5 7500 vs Ryzen 5 1600 for dedicated streaming rig

Like title says, im getting a dedicated streaming rig. I can get a i5 7500 and use my 1070sc for $400 or a ryzen 5 1600 and chose between my 1070 and an rx580 for 650 and sell one gpu (so about 500 total).

The 1600 is going to be better, for streaming, as it is a 6c/12t vs a 4c/4t. The Ryzen 7 1700 has been going for pretty cheap here lately, too, if you can afford the extra $20 to get it. It would be even better, as it is 8c/16t.

A buddy built that system to sale and months later is cutting me a deal losing money on it. I can get this system for 550 -Intel Core i5-7500 7th Gen
