Question I5-9400f Cpu 100% usage when i play fortnite

hi, I have the 9400f and rx570, 8gb ram 2666mhz, h310d motherboard. any time that go-to game and after 10 min when I look at the building my fps drop to 50 to 70 and my normal fps is 144 or 160, it is so bad i check everything and i konw my ram can be better but my cpu work on 100% so why? my friend has 7700k and works on 70% and in the test, 9400f is similar to 7700k , do you think all is about my 8gb ram ? my setting is low and just use discord in my background

the 9400F, at only 6 threads, is not really known for having threads to spare for other applications such as Discord..

Is your 8 GB of RAM only one stick? that cuts RAM bandwidth in half as well...

You can use HWMonitor to see that all cores are properly scaling to a given clock speed and note what temps are achieved doing so...; a simple CPU-Z/bench/stress cpu will easily give a 'gaming equivalent loading' for the CPU so you can observe it's behavior...

I use MSI afterburner for seen performance and my temp is highest is 75 degrees for CPU and GPU is 60
also, I use just one ram, and my cpu run at 3900mhz or 4100mhz
in cpu z my point is 2540 for all core and single is 450
