Question I5 - 9400F vs Ryzen 5 2600

so my friend want to buy new PC and i see I9 - 9400F is much more cheaper rather than I5 - 8400 and i see ryzen 5 2600 had a same price with I5 - 9400F which one is better for gaming purpose? since he want to play Sekiro : Shadow Die Twice at the end of March
