Hi, so I live in Lebanon, GPU prices are still way higher than msrp (3060 new 680$)
I found this used PC for 600$:
  • Core i7-8700
  • RAM 16.0 GB 1 stick
  • GRAPHICS CARD - 1660 TI
  • 1TB HDD
  • 256 GB SSD
  • Mobo boistar b360mhd pro2
  • Case xigmatic prosper RGB
  • Power supply 600w
What do you think guys, GPU prices still so high, cheapest 1660 Ti for 320$.

it's not a bad deal....just not a great one, either....(1 RAM stick cuts memory bandwidth in half, no dual channel)

GPU prices allegedly coming down to near MSRP....which would be great if one could find a 6600XT at MSRP...

The 12400/B660 is the defacto 'go to' for new budget gaming whenever possible...even if it costs you another $100, the hypothetical 12400-based rig will be far ahead of the 8700 once better GPUs are installed 2-4 years later...

In Lebanon GPU prices are so high,6600 xt is 600$. 3060 680$, 1660 ti lowest price 320$.
Yes exactly the ram thing sucks, I found another build for 750$, I know it will perform better but is it better value. I'm on a tight budget. Here is the specs of the 750$:
Core I5-10400

RAM 2X 8 GB stick 2666hz (daul channel)

GRAPHICS CARD - 2060

2TB HDD

120 GB SSD

Msi b460 mortar wifi

Case cougar panzer g

Power supply 600w

Water cooling xigmatic aurora 240 (hate water cooling)

So I want to buy a used pc to play competitive (warzone,Fortnite) and open world games at 1080p 144hz.

1st set: 600$

Core i7-8700

RAM 16.0 GB 1 stick 2666hz

GRAPHICS CARD - 1660 TI

1TB HDD

256 GB SSD

Mobo boistar b360mhd pro2

Case xigmatic prosper

Power supply 600w (he doesn't know the brand)

2nd set 750$

Core I5-10400

RAM 2X 8 GB stick 2666hz(daul channel)

GRAPHICS CARD - 2060

2TB HDD

120 GB SSD

Msi b460 mortar wifi

Case cougar panzer g

Power supply 600w

Water cooling xigmatic aurora 240 (hate water cooling)

What do you think guys? The main advantage of the 750$ is the dual channel and 2060 vs 1660ti. But is it worth the extra 150$? I'm on a tight budget
