Question i7 - i9 upgrade for Gigabyte Aorus Z370X Gaming 5, LGA 1151 Motherboard - RECOMMENDATIONS

Can anyone recommend which i9 CPU I should use to upgrade my flight sim gaming rig? I would like to preserve this rig as a Windows10 system (since its taken 4 years to this this system up.. Is that wise? Is that possible? Please advise.
