Question I9 9900k weird temps

Hey guys I just got an i9 9900k and with kryonaut paste my cpu is around 15% running my pc and its at 50 c at full load its 70 c with a cooler master ml360 aio my question is why is it not running at 30 with no work load like my 8600k. I know it notorious for being hot but I dont think 50 c is right for no real load, also i have a good corsair 570 x crystal so plenty air flow. room is 21 c, not the end of the world just curious.

For that AIO, I also wonder.

First obvious items would be to recheck the paste application and installation of the water block. Make sure your fans are pulling well in the way you have them installed, and probably would consider checking the pump speed and fan curves.

9900K are known to be hot, this is true, but that's a lot of cooler for those temps on a light load.

Yeah I set my pump speed to max, 2500 rpm and my fans are about 1500rmp idle and agressive fan curve, I will also double check the thermal paste but its still puzzles me why it it running like this.

I figured out what was wrong... the intel rapid storage bs, I deleted all that crap and now my 9900k went from 50 c idle to 29 c. Thanks for the input and helping out!
