If I put a corpse in a bag of holding, then put the bag in an
ice box, will the corpse still rot away?

Thanks!

Yes. (For any bag, not just holding.)

It's in the bag, which is some other dimension from "in the box."
Although I do believe this should be different for BoH versus other
bags.

An item inside a regular bag inside a box should know it's in the box,
but an item inside a BoH should be in another dimension.

But that's not how it works, just how I think it should work.

That's no bag of holding, that's a body bag!

Can a Gelatinous Cube destroy ice box?

Just an offhand question IRT this topic (sort of). How the hell does one
get a red dragon corpse (4500) out of an ice box?

Hmm, just guessing, not checked...
Polymorph into a giant (they carry boulders (6000), at least).
Destroy the ice box (if that's possible; maybe with an pickaxe).

One doesn't. Its only effect is to make the ice box itself too heavy
to carry as well.

By special dispensation only, I'm afraid. Giants get to ignore the
weight of boulders; for other objects, your carrying capacity is the
normal maximum of 1000.

Ice boxes can't be locked, and therefore can't be #forced.

> Can a Gelatinous Cube destroy ice box?

No; it's plastic, not organic.

You don't. It can't be done.
