IDE CABLES ???????????

anyone recommend on whether or not to use the cables that came with my
8KRA2+ to attach my ata133 drive to my motherboard. I'm currently using an
ata100 cable and a round cable for the other.

The same cable should be O K for ATA100 and 133. Round cables can help
airflow a lot and are preferred for cooling.

Show me where in the standard it allows round cables.

Bought some excellent round non ribbon cables. Beautiful. I have also used
the flat ribbon cables encased in a round sleeve. They are a bit messier but
work alright also. The spec does not specify the physical shape, only
electrical characteristics. Don't be square.
