Hello,

I am using a Lenovo motherboard originally from a Lenovo H415. Since I am making a custom case for it, I am using a standalone power button with a power led. The front panel pins on the motherboard seem to be a unique layout, and appear to be completely unlabeled. The power pins are easy enough to find, as they are the ones I connected with the screwdriver to test the mobo. However, I also need to connect the power led.

Is there a simple way besides trial and error to find the correct power led pins, and is there any risk or harm in plugging in the led wires to random pins to find the right ones? Also, if I have to to use trial and error, will the two individual led wires always be next to each other?

The layout of pins is in two rows as usual, with 7 pins on the top row and 6 pins on the bottom row, the missing pin being on the bottom right corner.

Thanks!
