IDM Internet Download Manager is downloading extra data!!!

when i used to download a file before,i used to get 220KBPS constant and stable....Now when i start to download,Its very unstable and low(roughly about 150KBPS) and my bandwidth gets used too,even without me doing anything....So i used a software called NETBALANCE,and saw that idm is infact using 220KBPS and is downloading data,even when idle and all downloads are complete...my file to donwload will be 220MB but through netbalance i found that idm is downloading something else too simulataneously along with the download.please help me...I am using windows 8.1

Uninstall all that crap, let the browser and web server handle the downloads

I have never, ever seen a benefit from using any of those idm applications. Especially if you have a broadband connection.

Jut one more layer of junk between you and what you want to get. Nuke it.
