[citation][nom]Zoonie[/nom]So is this girl a FF girl or an IE girl? Which one is the photoshoped one?[/citation]
Neither!

Why compare all those ridicculous versions? It's either Internet Explorer (no matter what version) or Firefox (no matter what version) or another browser.
Its not IE 6 or 7 or 8 vs ff 2 or 2.1 or ... 3.6563635.

[citation][nom]tramit[/nom]That girl sure does make me want to change to IE8 unless Firefox steps it up and shows me a better looking girl.[/citation]

Actually to be honest...i would stay away from that hot chick with the IE shirt because who knows you might just get injected by something bad (virus aka HIV) lol

As an IT business worker and a web designer, I am forced to use IE with Microsoft business apps like sharepoint. I do appreciate its quickness over firefox, but security and compliance is still a huge deal for me. I sit and code CSS and XHTML all freakin' day and fight against little quirks that IE8 has because of its rendering capabilities. that and security needs to be MS's primary focuses. other than that, it's not a bad browser, and mostly unexperienced people are the ones complaining about it.

[citation][nom]Alchemy69[/nom]I think those figures are almost as inflated as that blonde's chest, and just as artificially.[/citation]
Those puppies are real, you can just tell. Plus who cares about the story, appreciate the eye candy!

Note, Can this girly please do a photoshoot for all the main browsers please? Maybe a browser calendar for 2011?

People who think that Firefox is better than IE cause of the addons make me laugh. IE has addons also. IE7pro is one that I would recommend.

I find IE8 much better than Chrome or Firefox. If you think one is more secure than the other, think again. It is the person using it that is the problem, not the browser. Been using IE for years. I've never had a virus or spy/malware.

it does not matter that u blocked 350 million malware , they will keep on coming. Its important how fast u fix them u nubs. M$ will never get the ideea.

I've put the IE8 auto update on ignore, since I don't automatically install, just automatically get notified of updates and choose which ones I want to install from MS. Chrome 4's extensions are awesome and Chrome in general is a way better browser than IE.

As IE8 is bundled with Win7 and with it selling millions of copies there is no surprise it has gained market share. This is a shoddy piece of journalism and misrepresents what is actually happening, where are the IE7, IE6, figures, where is IE8 getting it's gain from? I must say I am disappointed with the lack of depth in some of your recent articles.

What Stupid Article and most certainly even more stupid thing to say !
Microsofts IE (whatever version ) is and has been the most awfull web browser ever and anyone that has used it long enough can surely tell you that. Please lets not all become DUMB and lower ourselves to this propaganda, most users out there are more then smart enough to tell when something is just a pile of garbage and they don't need some Website or some person telling them it is Great.
Firefox is just has been just plain better for many reasons and Microsofts ACTION to revamp and out more time into IE is a reaction to that. IE the most popular, LMAO. please .....

That could be because 27.9% of people using computers don't know or how to install firefox or a better more secure browser and are happy with just using whatever comes with Windows.

I'm assuming none of these reports ever take into account users knowledge of computers.

Firefox can display a shirtless girl like that without upgrading, lol.

Now for the serious part: I have come a across sites that said I had to use explorer to view a page so I used my explorer version 6 this didn't work it said it needed to upgrade to version 7 which doesn't work under xp64. This means not only it forces people to upgrade to a newer windows it also forces to use explorer...That being said I think because many people upgraded to win7 their HD is already bloated with windows they don't think about installing a new browser also the explorer8 gets the job done probably.
