Being the default program on an OS everyone is buying doesn't count for being the most popular browser! If it truly was the most popular they should figure out who installed firefox then went back or to IE8 instead or have a poll and NOT LOOK AT THE TRAFFIC! I think it is the migration to Win 7 that is increasing IE8 share of the market. Microsoft did announce the switch to Win 7 has been very very successful.

I am using i.e.9 and is good and stable, people like firefox and chrome is because they don't know what they are doing. I.E. 8 or 9 is the most compatible browser. If you hate ms then don't use windows ... hhhaaa go get a Mac or use Linux Ubuntu system if you like firefox so much...
