hey guys,

couldnt really figure out where to make this thread, this section seemed like the best match...

any ways, ive been wondering.. a stable 30fps is, well, good enough.. perfectly resonable.. and from what i understand, 60hz is basically 60fps? right? so i was wondering, y cant you do 3d on a 60hz monitor? 30hz for each eye?

Solution
because your eyes can easily tell the difference between 30fps and 60fps. 30 looks choppy while 60 looks smooth. the difference between 60fps and 120fps is another matter entirely and alot of people can not tell the difference.

you can probably do what you suggested with the right software driving the monitors. i've heard of quite a few 3d solutions ...
