Hi.
I'm pairing this PSU; Be Quiet 1200W 80 Plus Platinum STRAIGHT POWER 12 Full Modular ATX 3.1 with this mobo: ROG STRIX X670E-E GAMING WIFI

My previous PSUs always labeled their CPU cables as CPU. On this PSU, are the P8 slots for the CPU cables? They are called EPS here apparently, are this the cpu cables?

Can i plug them into this motherboard since I can't find any mention of EPS on the mobo's support page?
So it would go, P8 on the PSU side and CPU pins on my mobo and would it all be compatible?

Thanks and sorry for the dumb questions.

Why are they labeled p8 tho? Never seen that before
This from a quick Google:

The 8-pin CPU connector is often called P8, or more accurately, EPS12V, because it's a type of connector designed to provide additional power to the CPU, especially in higher-end systems and during overclocking. The "P8" designation likely comes from its physical configuration: two sets of four pins, totaling eight pins.

I remember using connectors labelled P8 and P9 on old (legacy) AT PSUs, before ATX PSUs were invented. We're talking 80286/386/486 vintage CPUs. In this case, P8 had only 6 wires. I doubt the P8 nomenclature on your new ATX PSU is related to old AT PSUs though.
