There is an old Sega Genesis game, that was a FPS, and was creepy as hell. It was called Zero Tolerance, and I would love to see that game remade, and put on PC.

[citation][nom]iam2thecrowe[/nom]couldnt agree more with heretic/hexen remake. Does anyone remember Rise of the Triad? that was a great FPS at the time.[/citation]
OMG! ROTT was the first game I ever played over modem.

Are we forgetting the Dark Forces was the first game to come out with Downloadable Content???

Marathon easily the best out of this entire list, prob the first FPS to have an actual story line, other than just mindless run and gun. A truly awesome game..

No One Lives Forever should get a redux - I LOVED that game. Nice combination FPS/stealth gameplay with campy 60s spy kitsch thrown in for good measure.

I'd be all up for a reskinning of Thief and Thief 2, just so long as they keep the difficulty and don't dumb it down like they did for the third one. Just a simple reskinning and revamped light engine is all I'd ask for. Well, and for it to be released on Steam, because it irks me greatly that I can't find any of my Thief 1 or 2 discs, despite having 40 of them that I got with all the random video cards over the years.

You know, There is a fan-made "upgrade" for Duke 3D that offers hi-res graphics and looks great. You need the original game files to run it, and the new graphics packs, which are available for free.

Uh they did make over Doom, it's called Doom 3. It's a remake in spite of the 3 on the end of the title.
