Ok for the record it's on game mode and I turned off all enhancements l. For some reason there is input lag all the time but if I put it on exclusive full screen all the lag dissapears. Is there something I can do to where the lag will also go away in windows and borderless because nowadays borderless fullscreen is all programs and games run in and not exclusive. Using -windowmode exclusive and disable optimizations still result in borderless fullscreen instead of exclusive. Please help im sure others need this!
I'm on windows 10 laptop connected thru hdmi to 55un7000pub tv if that helps

Q302LA model laptop

  • 5th Gen Intel Core i5-5200U processor
  • 8GB DDR3 memory
intel hd graphics
im playing all manner of games but the games that dont have it arent exclusive and just borderless fullscreen are PCSX2 emulator, no more heroes 1, dominus collection, and others. they all just automatically go to borderless full screen i really need to know if theres a way to force exclusive or make the input lag with borderless go away, theres no option for exclusive fullscreen in them

As a starting point:

https://www.xbitlabs.com/exclusive-fullscreen-vs-fullscreen/

What are the current fullscreen configuration settings on your system?

Overall, it appears that the observed behavior is as would be expected.

The behavior can be changed; however, there are inherent trade-offs involved.

For the most part, especially with respect to individual games, someone in the gaming community may be able to spot something and offer additional suggestions.

I configure all my games to run at 1080p

And do you know the best way to get a older version of windows like 1709

Windows 10 (1709)

I suggest starting with Microsoft websites.

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...ion-1709/e8c5ab9a-99fa-4f5f-a60a-f3b94f456380

Old links.

I would be very leery of any non-Microsoft websites...

There may be other ideas and suggestions posted in regards to your 1709 question,
Thank you for all your help I found the older version of windows but the actual problem was the laptop it didn't have a graphics card. I hooked it up to my gaming pc and all of the input lag dissapeared. This is probably just a problem from the past because I had that laptop from like 5 to 10 years ago. I'll probably make a video about this thanks again. The only thing that causes lag now is sync but the TV eliminates screen tearing
