Question Inspiron 15 Gaming 7567 laptop keyboard having issues with "2" key and "w" key.

Hi all,

I'm currently having issues with these keys on my membrane keyboard. Said keys aren't aren't consistently working.

Both keys work if I press a key near them. For example, I can get a "w" if I press "w" then "e".

The same goes for "2" in that I can make that key work only if I press "3" before hand.

This is not a consistent problem and sometimes they work normally for a short duration. Other times they don't work at all. Sometimes they will work but I am not able to hold it down like "eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" and it will only produce one W before not being able to work again.

I've already tried removing debris, running troubleshooters, uninstalling / reinstalling drivers and devices, turning off ease of access controls, messing with language input. Nothing here seems to fix the issue.

Thanks for any help :)

There are no ways to repair a membrane keyboard.

It is usually possible to replace keyboards for a laptop or maybe you could use an external keyboard?
